You also can park for free at the RTA Park N Ride at the Turnpike and Pearl Road and ride the FREE SHUTTLE to the Chalet. NO POLITICS. A Day at the Chalet is an event for families, not for politics. Chalk Walk
Arts in Strongsville sponsored the first Chalk Walk sidewalk art contest on the Commons on May 21, 2011.

To the many volunteers who helped to make the 2010 Day at the Chalet a rousing success. The free family fun festival drew a record 4,000 people to the Metroparks Chalet.
Arts in Strongsville gets grant
November 1, 2010)Arts in Strongsville has been awarded a grant in the amount of $5,986 from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture for the 2011 Day at the Chalet.
This year, Cuyahoga Arts and Culture awarded $15 million in grants to 133 arts organizations in Northeast Ohio.
Who we are
The mission of the Arts in Strongsville is to enrich the lives of all Strongsville residents through the promotion and preservation of the arts by providing opportunities for arts
education, promoting facilities for the arts, and encouraging broad-based community interest in the arts.
Arts in Strongsville is dedicated to developing imaginative thinking in children and adults. AIS also works toward involving residents in creative arts activities to cultivate and heighten visual, cultural and aesthetic literacy.
AIS is pleased to offer the "Day at the Chalet" festival, a free to our community annual event held in September at the Metro Parks. This amazing event offers residents
opportunities to interact with artists, to participate in collaborative projects, enjoy live entertainment and to practice their own skills. Some of our fund raisers have included
"Little Bit of Country", "Jukebox Saturday Night"and "Little Bit of Country, Little Bit of Rock N Roll."
